Nature Park & Plätzwiese

Welcome to a massive natural stage that is almost unmatched in the Alps: at about 2,000 metres elevation, Plätzwiese is a high alpine pasture that offers a spectacular mountain panorama. From this special box seat, the surrounding peaks such asDürrenstein, Hohe Gaisl, and Monte Cristallo seem close enough to touch. They look like gigantic hands with fingers pointing to the sky made from the typical pale rock of the Dolomites. Plätzwiese is rightly considered one of the highlights of the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park – a wonderful destination for the whole family.
